RESOURCES = HEALING

Despite the fact that mental health has become a major aspect of our lives over the past few years, it has always been and will continue to be a fundamental element of human life.

The difficulty of finding resources for melanated individuals has been a problem in society for many years. As a result of a variety of factors, one of the most significant of which is the lack of information and professionals who are well versed not only in the field of mental health, but also living the African American experience, has made this a great challenge.

Jamie Bennett, the founder of Real Talk wanted to create a platform where mental health providers, community resources, and wellness practitioners could easily be found, thereby eliminating the need for people to have to spend their time searching the internet. It is our belief that resources equal healing... it is time to heal together.
